Satu Creative, Yayasan Hasanah Launch RM1 Million Fund To Boost Social Enterprises in Malaysia

Satu Creative Services Sdn Bhd (Satu Creative), in partnership with Yayasan Hasanah, has launched the Creative Sprint – Hasanah Social Enterprise Fund (HSEF) 2025, a nationwide initiative aimed at strengthening Malaysia’s social enterprise ecosystem and driving sustainable impact.

The programme will provide RM1 million in grants this year to selected social enterprises from the Central and Northern regions, supporting innovators addressing challenges across four themes: Environment, Arts & Public Spaces, Education, and Community Development.

“Social enterprises demonstrate that business can be a force for good, creating opportunities, strengthening communities, and protecting our environment. But no changemaker succeeds alone,” said Ahmad Azuar Zainuddin, CEO of Satu Creative.

“Through the Creative Sprint HSEF 2025 with Yayasan Hasanah, we are building that support so social enterprises can grow stronger, scale wider, and shape a Malaysia that is more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable.”

The initiative goes beyond funding, offering participants mentorship, capacity-building workshops, networking opportunities with investors and ecosystem leaders, and platforms to showcase their ideas. The goal is to equip social entrepreneurs with the skills and confidence to scale their impact and deliver measurable change.

“At Yayasan Hasanah, we believe social enterprises are powerful agents of change,” said Stanley Siva, Head of Social Enterprise at Yayasan Hasanah.
“The Creative Sprint HSEF 2025 is about creating a movement that empowers social entrepreneurs with the tools, networks, and confidence to scale their impact. By investing in their journey, we are investing in a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Malaysia.”

Applications are open from 20 August to 20 September 2025. Selected enterprises will join intensive Impact Bootcamps in Kuala Lumpur (7–8 October) and Penang (14–15 October), followed by Demo Days on 9 and 16 October respectively.

Social enterprises in the Central and Northern regions are encouraged to apply and take part in shaping a more sustainable Malaysia.
