Tech in Asia And MYStartup Launch 9-Week Programme To Equip First Time Founders With Tools To Scale

Startup ecosystem builder, MYStartup has partnered online platform, Tech in Asia (TIA) to launch the MYStartup Bootcamp, an intensive 9-week programme that aims to empower and equip first-time founders with the essential tools and knowledge needed to successfully launch and scale their startups.

The MYStartup Bootcamp is a transformative initiative that provides aspiring first-time founders with a dynamic and immersive experience, supporting them in turning their vision into reality. Over the course of nine weeks, participants will be exposed to a comprehensive curriculum that covers the fundamental aspects of starting a startup.

Through hands-on learning experiences, personalised office hours, and invaluable networking opportunities, attendees will be equipped with the essential tools and knowledge to embark on their entrepreneurial journey with confidence as they bring their innovative ideas to life.

“Many Malaysians have great, innovative ideas but don’t know where to begin. We are thrilled to partner with Tech in Asia to launch the MYStartup Bootcamp. As a startup ecosystem builder, we believe that fuelling the pipeline of fresh and innovative startups is key to nurturing a thriving startup ecosystem. Starting from the ground up, we aim to empower passionate individuals to launch more tech startups that can drive real impact by learning and networking from successful founders through this structured and comprehensive programme,” said Ahmad Kashfi Alwi, Senior Vice President of Ecosystem Development, Cradle.

Maria Li, COO of Tech in Asia added, “90% of startups fail. But with the right mentorship and guidance, we believe founders can beat the odds. Learning from entrepreneurs who have “been there, done that” helps founders make informed decisions, avoid common pitfalls, and accelerate your own entrepreneurial journey.”

“With access to global, successful founders such as Bradley Priest (TradeGecko), David Python (Cariuma), Grace Sai (Multiple) and many more, paying it forward and mentoring the applicants in this bootcamp, together with MYStartup, we hope to empower more startups in Malaysia. Through this collaboration with MYStartup, we aim to combine our expertise and resources to create a truly transformative experience for aspiring entrepreneurs participating in the MYStartup Bootcamp,” she added.

MYStartup’s mission aligns closely with the goals set by the Malaysia Startup Ecosystem Roadmap 2021 – 2030, which emphasises the pivotal role of innovation in elevating communities and nations’ socio-economic status.
