OSK Holdings Berhad, through its property arm OSK Property Holdings Berhad and indirect subsidiary Perspektif Vista Sdn. Bhd., has acquired a 3.3-acre freehold land parcel in Subang Jaya from Tropicana Metropark Sdn. Bhd. for RM44 million.
The land, located within the established Tropicana Metropark masterplan, will be developed into serviced apartment residences targeted at young homebuyers. The project carries an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM427 million.
“This strategic acquisition reflects OSK Property’s confidence in the resilience and marketability potential of the Subang Jaya market,” said Ong Ju Xing, Deputy Group Managing Director of OSK Holdings. “Subang is one of the most mature and vibrant townships in the Klang Valley, with excellent connectivity and a strong ecosystem of amenities. We see continued demand for well-connected, lifestyle-oriented developments.”
The site benefits from direct access to the Federal Highway, providing seamless connectivity to Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya and other nearby centres. It is also surrounded by established retail, healthcare, and educational facilities, including GEMS International School and Sri KDU International School.
The new project strengthens OSK Property’s presence in the Subang–Shah Alam corridor, complementing its ongoing RM2.2 billion Mori Park transit-oriented development in Shah Alam, located 5.2 km away, and its completed Emira Residences, valued at RM280 million.
“With this upcoming project, our aim is to deliver thoughtfully designed homes that cater to the aspirations of modern urban dwellers, while also building on the momentum we have built over the years in this corridor,” Ong added.
The acquisition underscores OSK’s strategy of expanding its development portfolio in prime, high-demand locations across the Klang Valley.
