Malaysia Digital Acceleration Grant 2023 Application Is Now Open

The Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD) through Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), has announced the opening of applications for the Malaysia Digital Acceleration Grant (MDAG) 2023, starting today until July 28.

MDAG aims to drive the growth of digital and technology companies in the commercialisation stage that hold the Malaysia Digital (MD) status.

This grant aligns with the MD national strategic initiative, which focuses on attracting investments and creating high-value job opportunities, ultimately achieving the nation’s digital economic aspirations and positioning Malaysia as the digital hub of ASEAN.

MDAG 2023 will provide the essential funding for industry players to enhance their operations through the continued utilisation of technology, fostering innovation within
the country’s digital ecosystem, and generating more job opportunities for the people, in line with the principles of Malaysia Madani.

This grant, guided by the Malaysia Digital Investment Strategy, is anticipated to create additional technology companies at the regional level over the next three years. It aligns with MD’s strategy and framework to accelerate the growth of promoted sectors through identified technology platforms.

Since its inception in 2022, the MDAG grant has benefitted a total of 35 companies. Interested applicants must hold the MD status to be eligible for the grant. Successful
MDAG grant recipients will be announced within two months after the application deadline.
