Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd (Cradle), the focal point agency for Malaysia’s startup ecosystem development under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), has opened registration for the Cradle LIVE! Summit 2026, which will bring together startups, investors and industry leaders from across the ASEAN region.
The two-day summit, to be held at The Arch Galeries, Kuala Lumpur, is expected to serve as a platform for startup founders, investors, corporates and ecosystem players to forge strategic partnerships, attract investment and accelerate the commercialisation of innovation.
Carrying the theme “Build in Malaysia, For ASEAN & Beyond,” the summit aligns with Malaysia’s ambition of becoming a leading regional startup hub and one of the world’s top startup ecosystems by 2030.
Deputy Secretary General (Technology Development) at MOSTI, Norsham Abdul Latip, said a vibrant startup ecosystem remains a key driver of Malaysia’s innovation-led economic growth.
She said the summit demonstrates the ministry’s commitment to strengthening collaboration between government agencies, industry, investors and research institutions, while creating opportunities for Malaysian startups to expand into ASEAN and international markets.
Meanwhile, Cradle Group Chief Executive Officer Norman Matthieu Vanhaecke said successful startups require more than innovative ideas, highlighting the importance of access to networks, funding and market opportunities.
He said Cradle LIVE! Summit 2026 aims to connect Malaysian startups with investors, strategic partners and ecosystem players to unlock collaboration opportunities and support regional expansion.
The summit will feature two thematic tracks. The Springboard to ASEAN will focus on regional expansion, investment trends and market entry strategies, while The BIG Innovation Impact will explore corporate innovation, funding opportunities and public-private collaboration.
More than 20 conference sessions are scheduled throughout the event, covering topics related to startup innovation, investment and business growth.

Among the featured sessions are “Malaysia’s Innovation Agenda: Empowering Ecosystem to Drive National and Regional Impact,” “9 Unicorns In, One Lesson Nobody Talks About,” “Corporate Innovation Showcase: What Malaysia’s Corporates Are Building,” and “Crossing Borders: Building a B2B Business Across ASEAN.”
Registration for Cradle LIVE! Summit 2026 is now open, with startup founders, investors, corporates and ecosystem stakeholders encouraged to participate.
