Artem PACE Partners with Google To Launch PACE Bootcamp: A Fully Immersive Program For Innovative Entrepreneurs

Artem Ventures has officially announced the launch of PACE Bootcamp, an initiative by the firm’s subsidiary, Artem PACE. This 10-week program involves a series of workshops, mentorship sessions and related activities designed to support and nurture innovative entrepreneurs across different industries. PACE Bootcamp will offer its cohorts an in-depth and immersive learning experience in different topics such as AI for business growth, how to scale products, and financial planning among other topics, all of which are engineered for direct applications in their entrepreneurial journeys.

The launch of PACE Bootcamp was officiated by Yang Berhormat Tuan Gobind Singh Deo, the Minister of Digital and featured a confirmation of partnerships between Artem PACE and Google, and Artem PACE and WORQ.

Google has committed to supporting the cohort with mentorship and training on Google’s technology tools, including the adoption of Google AI to optimise and scale their startups. Artem PACE will support Google’s efforts by providing and recommending startups for the tech giant’s existing programs, including Google’s Startup for Sustainable Development. WORQ will join Artem PACE as the official venue partner for this cohort, providing spaces for all workshops throughout the program.

“It’s incredible to see Artem PACE and Google join forces to support Malaysian entrepreneurs through the PACE Bootcamp and I’m excited to see the first generation of PACE graduates apply the knowledge they learn through this course,” said YB Tuan Gobind Singh. “As the digital landscape continues to rapidly advance, we see more challenges presented every day in constantly changing consumer behaviours and heightened global competition. But with these challenges are immense opportunities to innovate and it’s ventures like PACE Bootcamp that will help our startups and SMEs seize those opportunities.”

No-fee and equity-free, Artem’s PACE Bootcamp includes a rigorous evaluation process by industry experts and investors to determine the 30 companies eligible for the program, of which 3 companies will be selected to receive non-monetary benefits from the program partners. The first cohort of PACE Bootcamp will receive a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills from Google and other experts in technology, leadership, marketing, and product development — ensuring a comprehensive and hands-on educational experience.

“The program aims to enhance the capacity and capabilities of founders to build products and services relevant to Malaysia and beyond,” said Tunku Omar Asraf, Principal of Artem Ventures. “By merging global industry best practices with deep local market knowledge, we’ve crafted a program that is uniquely positioned to propel SMEs and startups to new heights. PACE Bootcamp is more than just a program — it’s a strategic partnership designed to equip entrepreneurs with the tools they need to compete and thrive in today’s dynamic and challenging business landscape.”

PACE Bootcamp is supported by Ecosystem and Technology Partners — Google, Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd (Cradle) through  MYStartup, Strategic Partners — MYDIGITAL, Grab Malaysia, GX Bank Berhad, Equity Crowdfunding Partner — Wahed Ventures, and Venue Partner — Worq.

Registration for PACE Bootcamp starts on 7 th August 2024 and ends on 31 st August 2024. Businesses selected to join the PACE Bootcamp Cohort will be announced by 3rd September 2024.
